First International Conference on:

Space and Time

Enhancing resilience of communities and territories through smart technologies

29-30 October, Trento, Italy

Planning activities, as well as environmental or risk management scenarios require frequently updated repositories as well as provision of dynamic data.

Typical scenarios require being able to clearly identify data with the correct spatio-temporal scope, to filter out data that are not relevant in terms of temporal dimension and to perform a variety of processing tasks for analysis or simulation purposes. Smart services can provide the ideal technological solution to address a variety of requirements in domains such as energy, mobility, sustainability, inclusions.

Within this context the ICT-PSP project BRISEIDE “BRidging SErvices, Information and Data for Europe”, has explored how to extend current data/metadata models to be able to benefit from information available at high refresh rate as well as to be able to analyze evolution of phenomena over time, developing interoperable service technologies that can ensure access and processing of such spatio-temporal data for a number of potentially relevant smart services where spatial as well as temporal dimension are dealt with.

This conference marks the conclusion of the BRISEIDE project and, as part of the event the consortium will show their results. Within this initiative we are looking for high-quality works for presentation at the conference that introduce new ideas to the field and stimulate future trends or that show examples of use of spatio-temporal services.

The main topics of the event include, but are not limited to:
